Hello.
I’m a photographer providing fine art documentation services for artists, galleries, and institutions in New York and the tri-state area. With 10 years of experience, my clients rely on me to deliver color-accurate images in projects ranging from reproductions of individual artworks to documentation of multimedia installations to digitization of archival materials, typically within 24 to 48 hours. Consistent captures, everytime.
My goal is to take the guesswork out of color matching. That means adhering to strict benchmarks throughout the entire workflow, from image capture to editing to final output. I begin each assignment by creating a custom color profile that is tailored to the exact combination of camera, lens and lighting used in that instance, ensuring a high degree of color fidelity — as soon as the first shot is taken.
On-site editing no surprises.
We’re all accustomed to viewing images on a variety of devices. But screens vary widely in quality, even across a single manufacturer’s range. For this reason, I work directly with artists to edit images on-site, using a color-calibrated monitor, before works leave the studio. That way, what you see is actually what you get.
Medium format, maximum detail.
When artwork leaves an artist’s studio, they may never see it again. That’s why capturing accurate and detailed images is of the utmost importance. Using a 102 megapixel sensor, coupled with the optical performance of medium format prime lenses, yields images rich in detail beyond what our eyes can perceive. That’s peace of mind.
